Science, Religion and Spirituality
Our minds are gifts, made for us to use.
Spirit calls on us to use them for the good of all.
Spirit calls on us to use them for the good of all.
Anything that contradicts science and reason will be found to be invalid. It seems our loving Universal Power or Creator is a great respecter of intelligence and truth. Our minds are a clear fit to seek and find the truth, and in all the truthful spiritual teachings, studied closely, big contradictions are not found such as could stymie understanding.
To "See with our own Eyes."*
The newer faiths today enjoin us to use our minds to investigate to find the truth. Our modern education now enables us to seek for our own knowledge rather than rely on what another person tells us. Spirit asks us to "see with our own eyes."* Among the modern faiths today, most agree that any spiritual way proclaiming truth is valid only if that truth can coexist with science.

My soul tells me, along with many newer spiritual teachings, that all true religious teachings will and should make sense. When properly interpreted, any truth will not be found that directly contradicts the sciences and reason of the mind. *

Truth Heals...
|
Religion has had dire failings, not least of which is people being led by clergy and blind faith. Some of its been made from teachings are misconstrued or twisted, and some was needed for a time of little education. This modern age bring new understanding to heal the rift between religion and science. More vital hurts and remedies are not yet understood. Spirit has answers for our world, and ready for the heart that can receive them.
Just as religion can become dogmatic, so can science become like a gospel, hardening our mind to possibilities. We must take care to not become over-invested, bigoted in our reliance on any belief.
"None should follow blindly" the ancestors and forefathers. "Each must see with his own eyes, hear with his own ears and investigate independently in order to find the truth." * Baha'i Faith teaching
