Politics , Soul and Unity
“Divide and conquer” is a tactic of the powerful to keep their power. Spirituality figures into that as well. The wrongs of religion that have divided people from each other as well as their own spirit and true nature rob us of needed boding, unity and power. Capitalism, commercialism and dis-unity now have the edge, as we look outside ourselves for fulfillment and answers rather than to the Spirit that lives within. We are further alienated from each other due to the denial of the oneness of all faiths, the competition between religions and the rift between the religious and those who disdain that outlook.
Being set against organized forms of spirituality also leaves us lacking trusted methods to join with, grow and develop spiritually. Being alienated from the tool of religion, which has for centuries held the bulwark of Spirit’s teachings has cut back our sources of support. We've become frustrated, dis-unified, without a safe and healing home for healthy spiritual expression. Thus, we're more prone to the negative influences of commercialism, rampant materialism and what is simply popular in culture, and surely those forces which benefit from our animosity towards religion are not about to go for changes in the status quo.

Why Healing Matters
The Need of Spirit--
The current conditions of division and diversion from the ways of soul have brought humanity to quite a state of lack as to spiritual matters. The dearth of Spirit’s ethics next to those of materialism and greed’s injustice is deeply hurtful. No "band- aid" or mundane cure will fix our world until the hearts have changed to want only what is best for all. When unity and other values of spiritual virtue come into their rightful place, that may be the foremost factor that can free us from injustice, abuse and suffering. This alone can bring us into the fulfilling love that brings happiness, peace, equality and justice.

Blocks to Growth
Our gripes with religion can become as blocks to healing, kept fresh in the misunderstandings that hold truth and falsehood too. Discouragement grows out of that, and keeps us from becoming whole and powerful in unity and inner strength. Yet some of what we think we know that keeps us alienated from religion is now found to be outdated or untrue.
Mistaken or Outdated
Religion’s own confusion has caused disunity, yet history shows that secular forces are by far the foremost cause of war. The Encyclopedia of Wars lists over 1700 known wars in history-- only 123 involved religious causes-- less than 7 % of all wars and less than 2% of all casualties. A number of other misconceptions are now debunked and shared within this site along with offers less known remedies that have now come forth from the religions to help to heal ourselves and our world. The purpose here is to heal us from disunity and our alienation from spirituality.
Religion's harms affect our attitudes, discouraging and dividing us. Without spiritual support we are easy prey to the call of materialism and commercialism's web. The misconceptions supported in the status quo perpetuate these issues and have been little challenged, to the detriment of our unity, our spiritual connection and our bonds with one another. Thus the powerful stay in power and the peons stay pawns.
